Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Techshaf handles personal information when you visit this website, contact us, request information or use a Techshaf service. It is written for the services currently described on this website, including Google Maps Audit and other technology and digital-growth services.

Techshaf is the public-facing business name used on this website. The legal contracting entity and any required registered address should be confirmed before publication. This policy does not create rights beyond those available under applicable law.

Information We Collect

We collect information that is necessary to respond to an enquiry, assess a requirement, deliver a service, administer an account or maintain the security and performance of the website. The information collected depends on how you use the website and which services you request.

Information You Provide

  • Contact details such as your name, work email address, phone number and company or business name.
  • Enquiry details, service interests, project requirements, budget preferences and information you choose to include in a message.
  • Information needed to review a Google Business Profile, Google Maps presence, website or other digital property when you request a relevant service.
  • Files or other materials that you voluntarily submit for a service, such as documents or screenshots.
  • Account or customer information if customer accounts and dashboard features are enabled for you.

Automatically Collected Information

Like most websites, the site may receive technical information such as browser type, device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, pages visited, referring page, timestamps and security events. This information is used in aggregate or for security, diagnostics and website improvement where applicable.

How We Use Information

  • Responding to enquiries and communicating about a requested service.
  • Preparing, delivering and supporting an audit or other agreed professional service.
  • Administering orders, invoices, payment status and legitimate transaction records.
  • Maintaining website, account and service security, preventing misuse and investigating suspicious activity.
  • Understanding website use and improving content, usability and service operations.
  • Meeting legal, regulatory, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements.

Audit and Service Information

For a Google Maps Audit, you may provide information about a business, its Google Business Profile or Maps presence, website, locations, services and current business objectives. We use that information to review the agreed scope and prepare findings, observations, priorities and recommendations. Please do not provide personal information about another person unless you are authorised to do so.

Recommendations are prepared for the purchased scope. An audit does not by itself give Techshaf permission to access or change a third-party platform or implement every recommendation.

Transaction and Payment Information

If payment functionality is enabled, Techshaf may retain legitimate transaction records such as an order reference, payment status, transaction or payment reference, amount, timestamps and invoice information. Sensitive payment credentials should be handled by the payment provider rather than stored by Techshaf.

PayU or another payment provider may be used if and when the relevant integration is enabled. The exact provider flow and data exchanged must be confirmed against the production implementation before launch. Techshaf does not intend to store full card numbers, UPI credentials or similar sensitive payment credentials.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Technologies

The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies for core operation, theme preferences, security and remembering choices. Analytics or advertising technologies will only be used where enabled and appropriate notices or choices are provided. The exact tools, purposes and retention periods should be confirmed before launch.

You can control cookies through browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.

Service Providers and Data Sharing

Techshaf may share information with service providers that help operate the website, host systems, process payments, provide communications, support security or deliver an agreed service. Providers should receive only information reasonably needed for their function and should be assessed under the applicable contractual and legal requirements.

We may disclose information when required by law, court order or a lawful government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security or prevent fraud. We do not sell personal information as a business model.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, service delivery, accounting, security, legal obligations and dispute handling. Specific retention periods depend on the type of record and applicable requirements and should be formalised before launch. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required, subject to lawful retention needs.

Data Security

Techshaf uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe information has been submitted or accessed incorrectly.

Choices and Applicable Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, or to withdraw a consent that was given. Requests may require reasonable identity verification and may be subject to lawful exceptions. Contact us using the details below to make a request.

Third-Party Services and Links

The website may link to or interact with services operated by third parties, including Google and payment or communication providers. Their own privacy notices govern their processing. Google controls its Maps and Business Profile platform, policies and systems independently of Techshaf.

Children's Privacy

The website and services are intended for businesses and general audiences, not for children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so it can be reviewed.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy when the website, services, providers or legal requirements change. The version and publication details at the top of this page will be updated when a new version is approved. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy where permitted by law.
